Measuring the area is fairly easy if you have a square or rectangular lawn as you can easily measure two sides to obtain the square metres.
If you have an irregular shaped lawn draw the shape of your site to scale on a grid, like this:
Once you have your measurements, you can work out how much grass you need to order. Keep in mind that you can choose from two-metre- or four-metre-width rolls and that you want to aim to have as few joins as possible.
